Welcome to Connecticut Stars Volleyball. We are a Junior Olympic Program part of USA Volleyball, and the New England Regional Volleyball Assoc. The Stars program was founded in 2001 by Coaches Darryl Bourassa and Sean McKeon as a non-profit organization. The objective of the program is to give the Southeastern Connecticut area athletes the opportunity to improve their skills level and their fundamentals in a competitive team atmosphere.
The Connecticut Stars program is in its seventh season. This year we will be offering the following programs:
Open Division (formerly High Performance) - $825 Designed for competitive athletes who aim to play at the collegiate level. These teams will compete at the highest level within the New England Regional Volleyball Association's Power League, and Regional tournaments, as well as Invitational events. Professional uniforms, team bags, and practice shirts will be provided. Teams will practice on Sundays and at least once during the week. Player information will be distributed to college recruiters during competitions. Tournaments will be Sat. or Sun., with invitational events being both days. Travel and hotel is NOT included.

Club (formerly Locals) - $450 Athletes compete against teams of equal age and ability levels within the New England Region. Players in grades 9-12 are encouraged to try out for this program. No more than 10 players per team will insure all players equal playing time during pool play at local tournaments. These teams will compete in 3-5 tournaments held on Sundays, as well as a friendship tournament. Athletes will have the opportunity to try new positions. Practices are held on Sundays. Uniforms and practice t-shirts are provided. Some travel may be involved.

Instructional Development - will be available to players who are not selected to a team, as well as individuals in Clinic format on selected dates, based on participation numbers,and court availability. Please note, our goal is to not leave any players behind. We will make every effort to place all players that tryout.
